Muktha Kannada Serial Cast

ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ “ಅತೀ ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೆ” ಎಂದು ಕುತೂಹಲ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸ್ಸಿದ್ದ ಧಾರಾವಾಹಿ ಮುಕ್ತ ಮುಕ್ತ ಅಂತು ಶುರು ಆದ ದಿನ ಜೂನ್ ೧೬. ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನ ರಾತ್ರಿ ೯.೩೦ಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಸಾರ ವಾಗುವ ಈ ಧಾರಾವಾಹಿ ಯ ಮೂರು ಕಂತು ಬಿತ್ತರಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

The serial created a legal awareness among the Karnataka citizens. A prolific writer of Karnataka region Sudha Narayana Murthy was in the cast as an actor in the serial. In initial stages of the telecast, the serial was just named as 'Muktha', but later when the serial was started with a new name 'Muktha Muktha' that involved. Thalagavara Narayanarao Seetharam (born 6 December 1948) is a prominent Kannada film and TV serial director, actor and screenwriter. On to direct Kamanabillu which was the first serial on a satellite TV to be watched widely His association with ETV Kannada resulted in famous serials like Manvantara and Muktha.

ಆ ಮೂರು ಕಂತುಗಳ ಕಥೆ ನನಗೆ ಅರ್ಥವಾದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೀನಿ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಪರಮಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಅಂದರೆ, ಟಿ.ಎನ್. ಸೀತಾರಾಂ ಈ ಧಾರಾವಾಹಿ ಮಾಡದಿರುವ, ಹಾಗು ಮಾಡಲೇಬೇಕಾದ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದ ಬಗೆ. ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ಹೀಗೆ.

ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡಿ ಅದು ಸೋತಾಗ ನಾನು ಖಿನ್ನನಾಗಿದ್ದೆ, ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೆಲ್ಲರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುರಿದುಂಬಿಸಿ ಮುಕ್ತ ಮುಕ್ತ ಧಾರಾವಾಹಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದ್ದು. ಹಾಗೆ, ಕಥೆಯನ್ನ ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು Involve ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಬಗ್ಗೆಗೂ ಸಹ ಹೇಳಿದ್ರು. ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆ, ಅಕ್ಕ, ತಂಗಿ, ಪಿ.ಲಂಕೇಶ್, ಎಂ,ನಂಜುಂಡಸ್ವಾಮಿ(ರೈತ ಚಳುವಳಿಗಾರರು), ಪುಟ್ಟಣ್ಣ ಕಣಗಾಲ್ ಇವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೆನಸುತ್ತ ಧಾರವಾಹಿಯ ಹಾಡು ಶುರುವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಅರುಂದತಿ ಮನಮೋಹನ ಇವರ ವಿವಾಹ ವಿಚ್ಚೇದನ ವಾಗಿದೆ, ಈಗ ಅರುಂದತಿ ಸಿ.ಎಸ್.ಪಿ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ತನ್ನ ಮಗುವಿನ ಖಾಯಿಲೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಹಾಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ತನ್ನ ಹೊಸ ಔಷಧ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಉಚಿತ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೆನೆಯುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಅರುಂದತಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಂಭಂದಿಕರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಅಲ್ಲೋಬ್ಬ ಬೇಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಅಪ್ಪ, ಸಾಲದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂರು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗ (ಸಂಗೀತಗಾರ ನಾಗ ಬೇಕೆನ್ನುವ ಕನಸು ಹೊತ್ತ ಪೋರ).

ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವು ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ಸುಹಾಸಿನಿಯಂತಹ ಹಿರಿಯಕ್ಕ ಶಾಂಭವಿ. ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ರಾಜಕೀಯ ತಂತ್ರಗಳು, ಮಾತುಕತೆಗಳು ರೈತರ ಸಮಸ್ಯ, ರಿಯಲ್ ಎಸ್ಟೇಟ್ ಕತೆ, ಎಸ್.ಈ,ಝಡ್ ಇವೆಲ್ಲದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತ ಮುಕ್ತ. 4 Anand Good to know that this is a sequel to Mukhta. Now we know that TNS is again aiming to target the (ill) effects of globalisation again like Chinarika issue. We can be sure that there will be case on the doctor/nursing home who is treating the baby and are using for field test.

One grouse is that either all the charatcters can be played by same people or new characters can play that role because getting same actors/actress for those roles might be difficult. But somebody plays one role in Mukta & plays a different role in the sequel is little ackward. The role played by the “irritating charatcter” in episode one of Mukta Muktha had played the role of a doctor in Muktha. This could have been avoided.

6 Anand One good thing was that TNS was very candid in admiting that his film venture bombed and he too was frustrated/depressed with failure. Its good that he has come out of the “lows in life” and is working on giving us a good serial and more tha that lot of food for thought. I still remember the episode in Manvantahara(if I am right) where he talks on the relationshipe between parents & children after the children ditch thier parents for want of wealth. Very heart touching episode. And equally good episode was in muktha where the wronged mother(forgot her name) talks to her daughter (MAdhavi Patel) and asks daughter to forgive her for sin(ditching the first husband & kids). Initially the daughter will be very harsh but later the mother succeeds in changing her daughter’s opinion.

The dialogues in this episode was also quite good. We can look forward to many more “lessons” during the course of serial. All might not be good. But atleast majority will have lot of stuff.

11 Radhika ತುಂಬಾ ದಿವಸವಾಗಿತ್ತು ನೈಜತೆಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾದ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ. ಮುಕ್ತ ಮುಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ (ರಾಜಕೀಯದವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು!!) ಎಲ್ಲೋ ಎಂದೋ ನಾವು ಹತ್ತಿರದಿಂದ ಕಂಡಿರುವ ಅಥವಾ ನಾವೇ ಏನೋ ಅನ್ನಿಸುವಷ್ಟು ಸಹಜವಾಗಿವೆ. ಮನಮೋಹನ್ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದವನು ಹಠಾತ್ತನೇ ಅರುಂಧತಿಯ ಬಾಳಿನ ಖಳನಾಯಕನಾಗಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಅರಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಕಷ್ಟ ಅನ್ನಿಸ್ತಾ ಇದೆ.

ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಅರುಂಧತಿಯ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕಷ್ಟ ಸುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವತ್ತೂ ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದವರು ಈಗ ಅರುಂಧತಿಯ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸದೇ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ಯಾಕೋ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಕೆ ಆಗ್ತಾ ಇಲ್ಲ. TNS ಅವರು ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯತನವನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವುದನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಾಣಲ್ಲ!

ಸದ್ಯದ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಇದು ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ದೂರ ಅಲ್ವೇ? 13 harish TNS has erred here as well on the time-line aspect, the same way his shishya dodderi has been doing in minchu. TNS says its been 5 years since he met Arundathi, during her marriage or so.We can safely assume that he is 5 year gap difference between mukta and mukta mukta. If we look @ the political conversation of making desai chief-minister. Why would he wanna become CM since after 5 years there will election.

And its election time now 🙂 As we know desai became CM when mukta ended. So this whole stuff of desai changing party and becoming CM is shady since he can go to the junta for votes rather than needing support of the same people who ditched him.

20 same as ASH what happened today and instead of using the words like loony character, you can pls write the character name so that everybody can understand. I thought the the doctor in M1(who operates an appendicitis patient with his mobile ON and commits some mistake due to whcih the patient dies) is now playing the CM’s role, which is this brother character? When they were showing the bits and pieces this evening, I noticed this guy “Hulivaan gangadharaih” talking? Who is this person. Sorry for too many Q’s, I hope I can catch this up in next few episodes.

22 oh Gosh, Am I mixing up Manvantara and Mukta.? I think I need to recollect the story lines first. I am unable to remember the doctor’s character in Mukta. Which case was that? The only cases I remember in Mukta1 was Vishwanath’s murder case and Arunachal murthy’s murder case. Where is the doctor coming in M1?

Sorry to digress!! Ok, so already another CM candidate waiting? Looks like TNS is trying to figure out what actually happened in our real karnataka politics, that 20-20 thing and later many CM contestants etc., leading to an elections.

He might also show some educated IT gang participating in elections. Lets wait and watch. What ever it is, I am unable to digest the divorce of Manmohana and Arundathi.

He was such a nice guy alva? 23 VNS Veena, Actually, the doctor Kiran Das (a.k.a) “AILU” doctor was the one who cured Madhavi Patel’s mother (Mrs Arunachalamurthy) of her severe stomach pains. When the doctors in the big private hospitals suggested surgery etc, madhavi patel gets a court order to take her mother to Kiran Das and he just gives her a few pink tabletsandwalla!!she is cured 😀 Does this ring a bell now? 🙂 Kiran Das’s part was played by the SAME guy who is playing Shambhavi & Co’s lunatic father in M-2 now.

Yes, somehow, ಅಳು೦ಧತಿ ( 😦 ) being ditched by one and all (except Shambhavi and Co.) is very difficult to comprehend. I went into too much of confusions and couldn’t recall whether it was an old story or the new one. Too much of physically challenged ladies in TNS’s serials. The same M D Pallavi played this role in Maayamruga with an useless husband Rajeeva Later I could recall when she was telling that she eloped with one Rowdy element and that affected his dad’s career who was getting promoted as Judge and her daughter’s decision of marrying that rowdy element made him ashamed in the society. THEN I COULD RECALL.!!!! It was that Ravi Belegere who played the judge role and In Mukta-1, this episode was shown where this lady comes back from her marital relationship as her husband is one intolerable animal who is also a wife beater (shame on such men anyway) Since there are too many similar characters in TNS’s serials, its going into confusion state. And to repeat, the shambavi mane story is getting boring.

Specially her fathers too much of childishness.! 39 Radhika Yes Veena it’s a bit of Mayamruga and bit of Mukta in Pallavi’s character. Actually, in Mukta – it was a marriage with her classmate who hailed froma different state I think.

Don’t understand the introduction of the same character again unless TNS also shows her female characters that there is more to life than being cheated by men and brooding over it. If we just think of all the women characters created by TNS, one thing that is common is most of them seem very storng to the outside world – but they’re unhappy or sad in their personal life. I would love to see women who fight back and who are happy too 🙂 One futile marriage is not end of life after all. 44 Radhika @Veena – there was bit of confusion. Pallavi played Malavika’s sister’s role in Mayamriga where she marries a person of her choice but finds later that he is already married. Jayashree played Judge (aka Ravi Belagere!)’ daughter in Mukta where she marries person of her choice and realises later that he is suffering from inferiority complex hence abuses his wife.

Jayashree played Malavika’s maava’s (played by dattatreya) school going daughter in Mayamriga. Just felt that Jayashree from Mukta suited better for grief striken daughter than Pallavi. 45 Oh so correct. Unless you mentioned that earlier Jayshree(shaarada in maayamruga), i always thought it was this lady only?

Wonder if RB is still playing that judge role or somebody else! 46 Radhika @Veena, the gist of yesterday’s episode is that Kailash Mishra is trying to find way to bribe the judge as his lawyer says that there is 20% chance of his son getting punished. They find the judge’s wife’s teacher as the means to achieve it. Sugest him to visit Judge’s home when he is not around and meet his wife and daughter. The teacher is offered 1 lakh for the task. Judge’s role is now played by a different person not Ravi Belagere – also a familiar face but not able to recollect his name. 52 Right, Muddukrishna was shown in the court case of Ranjan lal mishra’s son Kailash Misra( I have always wondered where TNS gets all these name, especially the surnames/second names:-), almost everybody in the serial have it) So it must be the same person as that teacher of judge wife’s comes and approaches the judge family to get the judgement in Mishra’s favour.

It was little strange that Judge is fully ready with judgment & conviction details and then he asks only one question to accused on the “Machey”, then pronounces the judgement. In case the accused had told that it was not a “Machey” but something else that happened very recently then would the judgement have been different?

Instead.Judge could have added a line telling that “After getting confirmation from the accused that iwas indeed a “MAchey”, i came to conclusion.” these legal things must be handled with much more care i feel. 62 manjula HMMM I THINK IT IS TOO QUICK TO JUDGE... THEY MIGHT BE NEW ACTORS.

BUT IT IS ATLEAST BETTER THAN WATCHING THE SAME OLD BORING FACES. 63 Srinivas Yesterday’s episode had a little too much overacting 😦 Arundhati was correct in refusing the ring. But, it was a little unnatural for Shambhavi & Co to insist she take that ring which is their mother’s precious possession. One of the sisters could have (and should have) kept it. I am still not able to digest the fact that suddenly EVERYBODY in Arundhati’s immediate family from Mukta-1(which was as good as, if not better, Shambhavi’s family) has ditched her and her daughter so mercilessly. Srikantha and his wife had become very good at the end of M-1what happened to their kindness? Only TNS should answer that.

According to my knowledge, people are not at all that much generous. Obviously, it’s a too much over. Now Arundathi says that she is living in Dense Forest for the purpose of teaching Soligas or some SC/ST people? What this mean?

69 K.Suresh There was no need to make M2 a continuation of M1. The disconnect between the two is glaring. The story and characters are taking off in a different direction and there’s a desperate attempt to justify the gaps. This could simply have been a different story from M1. @srinivas: Post Minchu, viewers seem to have taken off the blinkers and viewing the serial rationally and critically without being intimidated by the reputation of TNS. 103 Naanu DADDARY @ Veena, again the same emotional scene by shambhavi, kalyani etc. Shambhavi is very much frustrated bcos of not getting married., behaves in 5 different manner per every episode. In yesterday’s episode, Chandrakantha & Malathi came to shambhavi’s house for the purpose of their “ammana shraardha”. Malathi is the actress one who played rashmi in minchu. She is liitle bit rude in her behaviour. She scolds kalyani & sharmi for calling her 2 kids as “chintoo & pintoo” (real name of her kids in this serial is sumeru & kumeru). Afterwords, shambhavi comes there.initially she abuses her bro & malathi very harshly as usual, malaathy is very much upset.

After that kalyani comes there & tells with her sis. Shambhavi that “yaak akka, anna iga maneg bandidane.hale vishya ella iga yaake?” then, shambhavi asks sorry with malathy. Sharmi brings “limbe hannu panaka” to everyone. At that time, loony uncle & shashi enters the scene@ the end of the episode there is a comedy because of loony uncle.

105 Srinivas Yesterdays’s episode, in my opinion, was one of the best, if not the best, episodes so far, albeit there was a lot of crying. But, it was not overacting (or over-reacting) kind of cryingbut children remembering their departed mother on her death ceremony and sharing their feelings about her.

I was moved by it. The episode re-emphasized the fact that a mother is probably the MOST important person in anyone’s life, as her love to her children is UNCONDITIONAL. Thanks to TNS for this wonderful episode. 109 Srinivas, So true. Generally we enjoy the presence of this person called “Mother” and it gives such a comfort always.

When we were kids, when we were into college and now too. Just last week me and my friends were discussing.

Its so depressing to see if they are sick or unwell somehow that comfort can never be established with anybody else. That father character is sometimes too loose I feel. I don’t think anybody would be such stupid to act. It really is so irritating that he speaks so bad about his wife. (avaLa haNe baraha avaLu sattu hodlu. Jawaharlal nehru ge operation maadlilva avaru sattu hodru so operation maadsidre nimma baduk tidlu anthella ankobeDi etc.,) Such an irritating talks is his!!

Jagadeesha rocks in Mukta -2 also, the same tone, the same looks and the same virtue. I guess he must be same in real life too, thats why he enacts with such ease. May such Jagdeesha’s tribe increase in the world and let all our ladies live happily 🙂. 113 Tharini Yes, it is a really good thing that they repeat the telecast at 11 PM but people like us are very very unfortunate because we work in the evening shift and cannot watch the first or even repeat telecast We only wait for holidays to watch, or listen to friends’ updates, or read from such sites thanks to one and all for the updates, keep them coming, friends(little more detail with more dialogues also welcome)!!!! I know this may sound impossible wish, or asking for too much, (please forgive if it sounds so) If only they repeated the telecast sometime in the day instead of at night. Better still would be weekend back to back just like we used to watch ‘Friends’.

I’m asking for too much. 115 Radhika @Veena, After many days I got to watch this serial yesterday. Shambhavi’s behavior is quite expected. I think anybody in her situation would behave like that even if they don’t speak out as Shambhavi does. Malathi’s role it’s a bit difficult to accept. I feel no man would be dumb watching when his wife talks ill of his parents/sisters/brothers.

Shambhavi displayed height of patience when she requests Malathi to stay with them even after all the verbal fight. Even today, Indian girls need family help to get married unless it’s love marriage. So Shambhavi’s pain is very understandable. 116 Radhika, True. The character of Shambavi is displayed that way. I understand all her tragic stroies and her sacrifices that she has made. But she has already said that many times when people come to her for any favours.

I beleive if you have taken any responsibility in life or done any sacrifices its good but there is no need to tell that out loud every now and then.If one does that so, then she looses her personality for nothing antha nanna bhaavane. I think the brother objects (even goes to hit her) her wife when she talks ill about his sister. But he displays his helplessness very badly!

I have already said that, the lady Malathi is too rude. But wonder what made them to come and seek help from Shambavi. Being a scientist, can’t he take care of the family’s basic needs? There are lot other better ways than coming and begging in front of her alva? About the family support, yes.But I have known few people who doesn’t agree with this as they are quite independent and are able to take care of themselves! 118 Radhika @Veena, it’s not by her choice that Shambhavi decides to stay unmarried. It was her irresponsbile father and brother who doesn’t own any responsibility which lead to her pathetic state.

Yea it doesn’t look good to hear Shambhavi’s voes but think of it her unmarried status pinching her in every walk of of life. Whether in her workplace or dealing with the land grabber – marriage is kind of protective shield. Not saying that all unmarried women are vulnerable but it gives sense of security OR one should be financially sound then women do not have much problem facing the world.

The fact that Shambhavi’s brother is well educated he cannot be in such a sorry state. I feel whole motive is to get back the property which is in Shambhavi’s control 🙂 About marrying without family support, it’s possible only for those who are utterly selfish. If one cares for brother, sister’s life every decision he/she takes would be directed by the facts affecting well being of the entire family. If Chandrakanta had given atleast moral support if not financial, things would have been different. 123 Srinivas But, he has faltered a little in the storyline here. All the children (Shambhavi and her siblings) always look at their father with a sispicious eye, not trusting him on even a small thing. However, they trust him COMPLETELY (which is too naive on there part) when he tells that cock and bull story about the 5 Lakh Rupees he has in his trunk.

The more NATURAL thing would be for one of the children to insist and take tat money back to Manmohan. Instead, they all meekly let him take that money himself.

Somehow, the impact of “MINCHU” can be seen here!! Maybe our Dadderi has directed that episode (or Sudha Belawadi wrote the story) 😆 I don’t know if it is just me, but I think by 40 episodes (that M-2 has completed), M-1 has a very good grip on the storyline and also on the audience.

Story line has got a clarity now and also so quickly he showed up the Ranjal Mishra and his son kailash Mishra’s story in the court to display their influential power. The story of Judge and Family is also fairly going good. (Wonder if they are really that poor, Why did Judge display such a helplessness at all?).

315 Babu Rao I wish at least on one aspect TNS sets a new trend. MM has a story line of only about 17 minutes per episode and with repeat of scences which gets very irritating some times, and dragging of story quality suffers. TNS can with his quality and leadership in story telling command and lead a different path. Stop the initial 3 minutes mukta mukta song or reduce Do not repeat scence from previous episode. Do not keep dragging the story by repeat dialogue Court scence need to be sharper and not with repeat every two minutes and again a consolidation.

Improve court scence. Bring a change which even real court can adopt. Borrow at least a good thing from US of how the accused is respected. Allow them to sit. Even if the three accused scence you show is more from old edition capture few different reactions. Otherwise it looks horrible to see same expression from Deshpande and prgna for everything.

It is easy to make out that these scence are cut and pasted from editing and not real. I am appealing thro this balaga to TNSBring a trend that will change TV serial making differently. The way manglatte harasses her with all those trainings etc, and the way she asks her to resign from her job(and later she would pay the salary amount so that swaroopa(throw?) can give it to her family). With so much swabhimana, I wonder if kalyani still want to continue with her intention to marry Madhu. Unlike other kannada movies, she can’t suddenly become an IAS/IPS officer but atleast she can do something that Madhu’s mother realises her value(definitely Madhu n her Mom’s relationship partly depends on this episode). I, as a layman, learnt so much about forensic science, and it is so fascinating. The difference between TNS’ serials and others is that the viewers of TNS’ serials learn so much about things that exist in the real world, at the same time having fantastic entertainment.

I am sure all those watching will be contributing if not real money, but useless tears watching these further and the only damage is it could create floods in each house. FOCUS on teh story and bring back what needs to be conveyed.With a talent pool of young, hungry actors, great director, all that is needed is to focus what you want to say. This serial is moving rudderless, with incipid storyline and matching dialogues. When there is nothing else to show, some inane, predictable scenes of ‘Sharada Srikanta Murthy’ and ‘Shankara Murthy’ are thrown in as fillers.

Most, if not all, characters lack conviction. Story takes bizarre turns, dialogues are unnatural.

Is this serial meant to test the patience of discerning serial watchers? PS: Isn’t it a little unnatural that siblings living under the same roof address the brother as ‘chandrakanta’ rather than a shortened name? And one character is addressed always with ‘full path’ – Nirmala Kondalli. I wonder why this courtesy is not shown to others?

Some times continous gossping and sitting and taking food together, kalyani’s marriage etc and what is happening around is a boring diversion and this is also elongated too much to strech the serial. Bring the main focus on CM and his goonda associates, taking from examples and surroundings bring to serial fast pace, show the misdeeds of all these politicians, officials and how the son fights from within. May be link all others from diffetrent stream to show they all can be fought. Bring the power of RTI. You are doing a great service showing many examples but let there be one focus.

For example, just listen to the dialogues by the characters Niveditha and Devananda (among many other characters). They sound SO HOLLOW and PHONY. I don’t know if you and your story/dialogue writers speak that way in your homes. Please make the dialogues sound natural. If need be, change your dialogue writers. Your earlier serial MUKTA was so nice, and most of its dialogues sounded natural.

It will be like this: Niveditha gets a revolver for her “protection”. However, her “friend” (who shot Sharadamma mistaking her for Niveditha) will steal (or convince Niveditha to lend it to him) that revolver from Niveditha.

On instructions from Bhinga, kill the chief minister Rajananda Swamy using that revolver, and frame Niveditha (two birds in one stone for Bhinga 😛 ) and possibly also Shivakrishna Desai and Anandaraj Nandipur. That way, Bhinga thinks he will eliminate his greatest enemies and become the CM himself. However, he has not taken into account our CSP sir 🙂 CSP will, through his dramatics and other usual tactics, will SUCCESSFULLY defend Niveditha and others in the court and nail the “REAL” culprit, minister Bhinga. Once this happens, the elections are held and Shivakrishna Desai and his party will have a landslide victory, and they will form the government. They will all sing, “ಕಟ್ಟುವೆವು ನಾವು ಹೊಸ ನಾಡೊಂದನು, ರಸದ ಬೀಡೊಂದನು.” And the serial ends with Shambhavi and her family lighting THUPPADA deepa in front of God.

381 Prathap I like Muktha for two reasons. It always has an element of being ant-system whichs filled with criminals and corrupt. Building on this the serial tends to be dramatic most of the times. So it a very good time pass. I dont watch any other Kannada serials, but I feel compared to most other gross serials in Kannada MM is somewhat better overall in its representation. Its a nice timepass serial anyway.

Having said that all the drama comes with a fair share of amateurishness. One of its serious short comings is the reality of its story. Some plots like Minister fooling the whole state by telling hes doing cloud seeding but instead carries out missile testing and no one knows abt it looks implausible. Some other things like Nivedita so easily has someone to buy her a TV channel and in a short time she claims to be the owner! CM keeps all his money in a garage guarded by a hapless watchman! Most unrealistic is this ‘High Power Committee’ whichs headed by a journalist and TV owner like Nivedita!

And she has all retired judges under her and the she also has prosecuting powers! This plot is dubba, but nice dramatics. Another shortcoming is it tends to be little draggy at times branching off into some storylines which are temporary and dont contribute to the big picture like Abhijit episode and even the double acting by CM Many times we see amateurish actors who come and go playing small roles. It doesnt sound perfect Another thing is predictable and somewhat repetitive big picture. All TNS serials right from Mayamruga have one orthodox joint family with ‘THulasi katte’.Theres one brave usually single woman who manages the house(Shambavi). Then there are some corrupt politicians and their criminal friends. Then theres one modern feminist educated woman (Nivedita) who fights the system.

And couple of good politicians and last but not the least our DODDA TALE CSP!! And as told by Srinivas from now on the future plot looks very predictable. There will be a murder and Nivedita + good politicians will be framed and there would be a mega court case for 6 months where CSP will come out from ashes and send Bhinga and company to Jail. But for me who watches it for timepass some of the stupid plots add to the fun, what I like most is the overacting character of Shankaramurthy who sleeps all the time and speaks non-sense everytime! 383 Prathap thanks to video girmit, I just saw the episode where Sharadamma is shot and it looked so funny and stupid. Its probably the funniest crime scene I have seen on TV.

Killer hits Sharadamma and misses and Sharadamma tolerates the shock without uttering slightest of screams. She slowly sits on bed. And nobody else in the house hears anything though they are standing few feet in the living room. I dont know how they came to know she was hurt. All rush in for no reason and talk casually. Everybody is so stupid they dont realize it was a bullet shot.

And from no where the killer comes in pretending to be sympathizer. Nobody even calls the Doctor thinking its a minor injury. After looking at each other for 10 mins they realize that it was a bullet and without police visiting a crime scene Devanand casually picks up the bullet with his bare hands. Nobody thinks after a crime scene like a MURDER ATTEMPT they should call police(they stupidly spend so much time thinking if it was a bullet shot:P) instead of calling police everyone puts on the detective hat and begin contemplating who could be behind this. Nobody even goes out and sees if anyone was there outside.

If I was the killer I would have been happy to easily target and kill allof them while they were stupidly looking at each other and talking non-sense:P In a span of 10 mins I found so many funny facts. I wonder what kind of ppl direct such sequences. One doesnt need to be a crime expert like Ravi Belegere:P you just little common sense and should try to get an idea of the real life scenario in such crime incidents. It looks so stupid and funny.

It is as follows: Your serial will take a HIGHLY BIZZARE turn now in that the person who returns with Bhinga from the Sahasrakonda forest is not really the CM Rajananda Swamy, but his brother (who is supposed to have died in Germany). This is all due to Bhinga’s KUTANTRA. Bhinga will use this impersonator CM to dance to his tune, and will control the entire administration.

It is beyond me as to how Bhinga could have managed to train this guy to act EXACTLY like Rajananda Swamy!! He even has got dentures that EXACTLY match Rajananda Swamy’s teeth, to fit in the mouth of this impersonator brother of the CM. Natural teeth are as different from person to person as their fingerprints!!

It will be our super-brain CSP who will crack this case of the impersonator, expose Bhinga and bring peace and prosperity to the state!! It was very close to reality. There are people like this who are so good in their professional life, nut unfortunately very bad in their personal life.

Thats the other face side of the same coin, and very close to reality. Interestingly, yesterday’s episode of choosing the deputy CM was also interesting. My dad enjoys politics being portrayed in this serial very very much. His favorite is Muniyappa – a very colourful character. Even they very way he speaks out can make the audience burst into laughter.

Their will phone call from csp junior to sharadamma house asking for the cd the she told to nivedita then she asked about the cd she told that i gave the cd to police officer who cam eto house and took it she called P O and tell him to bring a cd.

429 D.Sunil That police in high committe hands over those DVDs to binga and binga gives him suitcase full of money.he initially refuses to take it but later accepts it. Madhusudan s mother advices chandrakanth to go to malthi s friend house get her back but he won.t agree to go but calls up malthi,she won.t pick the phone even though she is infront of phone.

Then he calls up maithi s friend and when she tells malthi that her chandrakanth has called,she refuses to talk to him. That computer technician would delete those binga s file from niveditha s comp and when niveditha sees there is no folder she asks him there was one folder but its not there now.then he says that he has not deleted d folder and says it sometimes happens folders get deleted when system crashes.he says he is very experienced technicain and he has not experienced such thing before. Niveditha repents that their 4 months of hard work has gone in vain and she says wat should i tell to the central govt now. She also scolds that police officer who had shown broken dvd to the committe.

Its interesting to know now how they ll retrieve those dvds from binga and wll they take any actions against that police officer in the upcoming episodes. 430 D.Sunil 16th: Summary is Niveditha would have made another copy of the dvds and kept in locker whic nobody knew. The day that technician deletes all the contents from the system she takes them from the locker and hands it over to CSP and also gives 2 lac cheque as advanced fees to CSP.Now only CSp and niveditha know that they have another copy of the dvd but others don.t know So they can produce it in the court and niveditha would easily come out of the case and BINGA would be sent to jail.

432 R.Ramaprasad Dear Sri Seetharam: I have been watching Mukta Mukta, right from its first episode. While I have enjoyed a lot of incidents/episodes which are inelligently done, I have strong reervations about some which are fare from reality. Most of the time, the family of Shankara Murthy behave like incompoos.

Everytime there is a dialolgue in their house, the entire family, relevant or not, stand around. Does it really happen in a normal household. A case in point was in the episode of 18 May 2011, wherein the new CEO of Vijaya Chaneel barges in to the family home, looking for Sharmila, blasts her for not attending office even one week after her release from detention. The kind of language and abuse by a ‘dignified’ CEO going to an employee’s house and taking her to task. There are so many family members around who listen to all the crap as mute audience – ridiculous, isn’t it? Would this happen in your family or any other cultured family. There is an IAS lady, an eminent scientist brother.

Could they have retorted in some way? All in al, most of the episodes these days are going away from reality, may be in an effort to prolong the ‘agony’/serial. I hold you in high esteem even today for the naural (true to life) that you project in your storyline. May I trust you to continue to do that, please?

435 Rashmi Krishnaiah Hi Everyone!!!, I am so excited to watch today’s episode. Finally court scene!!! Was waiting with baited breath for this. And here it is finally. Hoping it would be as interesting as before.. However, there was a good surprise with Sihi Kahi Chandru being chosen as the prosecution counselor. Good one – but need to see the performance, since we all are so used to see him performing comedy roles.

But if it comes to prosecution lawyer role in T.N.’s serials – Sharath Lohitaashwa of columbia copper mining case is my favourite. A very dynamic role.

474 sudha I have a question to Mr TN Seetharam aka CSP: Lately your serial episodes seems to be out of sync.For example: on 12th July, you ended the episode with the court scene. Then on July 13th, you started the episode with Nivedita-Devyani interview and again flash back of the court scene, and continued rest of the serial with the court scene. Don’t you think that the episode does seem not well ‘edited’? You could have woven in the intricacies of “HIGH STRUNG ACTION” of actual evidence collection; of course, so cleverly weaved into the story, that the viewers will recognise their relevance and crucial importance ONLY when they surface during evidence or cross examination.

If 100 points are to be split, the Court Scenes would get 80 and the Growing Story 20. If Evidence Collection (in the words of Perry Mason, also “Ethical Evidence Arrangement”) had been included, the 100 points would have been split as 60 for Court Scenes, 30 for Evidence Collection and 10 for the Growing Story. Please go through all the 150+ witnesses.

Your talking volume is uneven, ( maathu nungi kolluttira!), hence we cannot adjust TV volume to hear you properly. But the background musician is doing a very bad job, with loud banging sounds quite unnecessarily for unwanted words. It is highly irritating and quite unnecessary and breaks up the rhythm of conversation.Ask him to hold back his instruments. We feel many times silence in suspenseful situations is more telling and impressive than this old fashioned loud percussion sounds. Too many old stock shots of Sharmila, Nivedita and Madhusudhan unnecessarily looking worried and tense even when CSP is winning the arguments for them.They should be smiling and happy!It is so pathetic to watch such wrong stock shots. Hats off to you for analyzing a serious political conspiracy and giving a detailed review of bomb blast etc But we sometimes miss your intermittent Kannada poems, anecdotes and quotations from famous kannada poets like Bendre and adiga that was something special last time This time the judge (Ravi Belagere) has scared you off?

However, bull doggish villager not only stuck to his views, but also managed to sow the seeds of doubt in the other villagers, as he had a ready counter argument to all the proffered East Rise reasonings. I am sure that TDJ will convince CSP and the Judge, that he can see 250 mt away in darkness and hear gentle voice 100 mt away and; he is normal, whereas others who do not see and hear like him are not normal. By the way it is pronounced as heli-‘capter’ wrongly by CSP, it is actually Heli ‘copter’!! Soujanya SMS episode is taking unrealistic turns with her sudden change of heart.The actress who plays this character is amateurish, can’t even cry properly.
